The National Investigation Agency has detained an alleged Jaish-e-Mohammed operative Muneer-ul-Hassan Qadri from Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday.
The NIA's arrest has been made in connection with the 2016 terror attack on an army camp in the state's Nagrota.
The attack on the army camp had claimed the lives of seven soldiers and two officers. The counter operation had killed three Pakistani terrorists and recovered a huge quantity of firearms, ammunition, explosives and other articles.
The JeM operative was in the custody of police for some time. 
A case was registered by the National Investigation Agency into the incident in December 2016 under sections 120B, 121, 307 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) and sections seven and 27 of the Arms Act, 1958.
