
Close to 44,000 entrepreneurs will be seeking a spot in the 400 slots for participating in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) to be held this month, media reports said.
The summit will be addressed by Ivanka Trump, Donald Trumps daughter and advisor, in addition to some of the top CEO's and academics from around the world, according to reports.
The GES summit, organized by India in association with the US, will be launched and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 28 in its eighth edition.
Maximum importance will be given to four industries - healthcare and life sciences, digital economy and financial technology, energy and infrastructure, and media and entertainment, and with further address variety of topics including 'From Hollywood to Nollywood (Nigeria) to Bollywood', reports TOI.
Reports say that Ivanka Trump will head an exclusive US delegation which will throw light on the theme 'Women First, Prosperity for All', centering around providing support to women entrepreneurs and stimulate economic growth.
The summit will include speakers from 40 countries with participants from around 100 countries, and hold several workshops, talks, panel discussions, speeches and provide a great dais for networking.
Top leaders like as Amazon, as well as PayTM's Vijay Shekhar Sharma, OYO Rooms' Ritesh Aggarwal and corporate leaders in innovation like Bosch, Siemens, Mercedes, and influencers such as Chatri Sityodtong, founder of One FC, and Michelin - star chef Vikas Khanna, will give talks at the summit, media reports say.
