INX media case: Karti Chidambaram, his CA brought face-to-face in Tihar Jail
The CBI on Saturday brought Karti Chidambaram and S Bhaskararaman, Karti's chartered accountant, face-to-face. Bhaskararaman, who handled all the business dealings and finance of Karti, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) last month.
The agency had on Friday extended Karti's custody to make him confront his CA.
Bhaskararaman was last questioned by CBI in August 2017 when agency interrogated directors of Advantage Strategic Consulting Pvt Ltd (ASCPL).

After Delhi Court extended his Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody, Karti Chidambaram filed a caveat in Supreme Court on Saturday.
In the caveat, Karti appealed to the court not to give any order without hearing him if Enforcement Directorate (ED) challenges Delhi court's interim order in the case on Friday.
Delhi High Court on Friday granted interim relief to Karti Chidambaram until March 20 in the event of an arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) ) in the INX Media money laundering case.
The court granted the relief till next date of hearing. HC also issued a notice to ED and Centre based on Karti's plea.
The next date of hearing is March 20.
