Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday while appreciating Delhi police swift action into Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash's assault case, has asked them whether they can show the same spirit in investigating Justice Loya's death.

''The way police and investigating agencies are probing the matter of assault on Delhi Chief Secretary is worthy of praise but I would like to request them to show the same spirit in investigating the matter of Justice Loya's death and question BJP president Amit Shah in the matter,'' he said.

Earlier the Delhi Police reached Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's home on Friday morning to look for evidence, security footage and to question employees in following the alleged assault of the city's top bureaucrat last week.

Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash had lodged an FIR with the Delhi police alleging that he was assaulted by AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan and others during a meeting at Kejriwal's residence late February 19.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's key aide VK Jain is also reported to have told a city court on Thursday that he had seen ruling party lawmakers assault Prakash at Monday's midnight meeting at Kejriwal's house.
