Ink was thrown at Patidar leader Hardik Patel in Ujjain on Friday.
The incident occurred after Hardik Patel arrived in Ujjain's Hotel Meghdoot. A youth from a Gujjar Mahasabha (meeting) threw ink at the Patidar leader. Ink marks were also seen on Hardik Patel's face.
The youth, Milind Gujjar was thrashed after the incident and handed over to the police.
