In a nationwide crackdown, CBI searches 110 locations across 19 states

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday conducted searches at 110 locations across 19 states in connection with corruption, criminal misconduct and arms smuggling cases.

The probe agency has filed 30 separate cases, said agency officials.

According to officials, the raids were carried out in various cities including, Delhi, Bharatpur, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Pune, Goa, Jaipur, Kanpur, Raipur, Hyderabad, Madurai, Kolkata, Rourkela, Ranchi, Bokaro.

This is second massive search operation by the agency in a week. Last week, the CBI had carried out searches at over 50 places in 14 states in connection with bank frauds.
