The Delhi Police received information about an attack on the vendor late on Wednesday, following whichhe was takento a hospital.
The man succumbed to his injuries, the police added.
The Delhi Police told ANI that a preliminary investigation suggested that the ice cream vendorwas attackedwith a knife due to a fight.
The deceased hadthree wounds on his body, one of which was very deep, due to which he died, the police said.
"We have also recovered some money and a watch from the victim's bag", they added.
The accused was identified by the police with the help of CCTV.
The police said that the accused was on the runandefforts were on tonabthe person.A case had been registeredunder section 302.
Further investigation was underway.
