WATCH: IAF training aircraft crashes near Hyderabad, pilot safe

An Indian Air Force (IAF) training aircraft crashed in Hyderabad on Thursday, according to Air Force sources.

As reported by PTI, the aircraft was on a routine mission when the crash took place.

The trainee pilot has escaped unhurt.

Sources told PTI,"Today morning, at around 11.45 am, a Kiran aircraft which got airborne from the Hakimpeth Air Force station in Hyderabad for a routine training mission crashed. The pilot, a trainee flight cadet, is safe."

As per the report, a court of inquiry has been put in place to ascertain the cause of the incident.
