The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the Election Commission of India seeking permission from it to allow the use of AIADMK-Amma name to TTV Dhinakarn camp for the upcoming municipal polls.
The court issued the notice to the EC after a plea was filed by TTV Dhinakaran.
The next hearing in the matter is on February 6.
Dhinakaran who recently won the RK Nagar bypollhad fought the election as an Independent candidate.
He beat the AIADMK's E Madhusudhanan by over 40,000 votes.
