
Heavy rainfall in Kerala has disrupted normal life. More rainfall is predicted on Wednesday, weather officials said.
The government has declared holiday for all educational institutions in eight of the 14 districts.

It has been raining for past 36 hours in several districts due to which more than 3,000 people have been rehabilitated in relief camps.
The Thiruvananthapuram-bound Mangalore Express was delayed for three hours after an uprooted fell on top of the last bogey in Alappuzha district's Chandriroor.
Districts which suffered the worst from heavy rainare Alappuzha, Idukki, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kottayam, Kollam and Kochi.
The Met Department has issued an alert for the coastal districts, warning fishermen not to venture in the rough seas. Also, buses via Karnataka has been suspended.
