The CBI filed a 1,000-page charge sheet in the Gurgaon school murder case on Monday.
The charge sheet says the fingerprints of the juvenile accused were found at the crime scene. And that the source of the murder weapon -- a knife -- has been identified.
The charge sheet adds that the motive for the murder remains the same -- that the juvenile had wanted to postpone a school exam and delay a parent-teacher meeting.
The CBI has also said in its charge sheet that the role of the school and the police in the murder is still under investigation. The agency meanwhile has also asked for the discharge of the bus conductor Ashok, who was first accused of the murder by Gurgaon Police.
The CBIcharge sheet says the juvenile searched "how to remove bloodstains" on the internet.
The CBI says in its charge sheet that this indicates he planned the murder and the destruction of evidence. It also adds that the juvenile's statements do not match with the CCTV footage retrieved.
His email and mobile phone records are included in the charge sheet.
The CBI adds that the behaviour of the juvenile before and after the murder has been included in the charge sheet. The CBI adds that the "behavioural analysis" was carried out by psychiatrists.
Circumstantial evidence is reportedly included in the charge sheet, and there are a total of 127 witnesses in the Prince murder case.
Prince was found dead in the toilet of his Gurgaon school on September 8 last year.
The seven-year-old was studying in class II. Gurgaon Police arrested and charged the school bus conductor Ashok with the murder on September 8 itself.
But Prince's father insisted on a CBI enquiry, saying the police and school were covering something up.
The CBI took over the case on September 23. A few days later they said a class 11 boy was their prime suspect.
The CBI said the juvenile had committed the murder because he wanted to have an exam postponed.
A Gurgaon court meanwhile turned down the juvenile accused's bail application, saying the stage was not fit for the granting of bail.
The 16-year-old will be tried as an adult.
