Gujarat woman suffers severe injuries during sex, dies due to heavy bleeding

A woman died of excessive vaginal bleeding in Gujarat reportedly due to complications she suffered during sex. The 23-year-old nursing graduate was with her boyfriend in a hotel room where she faced vaginal tears, causing the bleeding, according to the forensic report.
Instead of reaching out for help, the boy started searching for remedies online. He has been arrested.
The couple had checked into a hotel in the Navsari district on September 23. During intercourse, the woman started experiencing heavy bleeding. The police said that they started panicking, but the boy, instead of calling an ambulance or taking the woman to a hospital, started googling ways to stop the bleeding.
He tried using a piece of cloth, but the woman fainted soon after. The boy then called one of his friends to the hotel. They took the woman to a private hospital, from where they were referred to the Civil Hospital.
The woman was declared dead at the hospital. The boy called the girl's parents, but she had already passed away by the time they reached.
Her body was sent to Surat Civil Hospital for a forensic test and the boyfriend was arrested. A case has been filed against him for negligence.
The postmortem report revealed that a serious injury to the woman's genital area during sex led to heavy bleeding, because of which she passed away.
District Superintendent of Police, Sushil Agarwal, stated that the boy has been charged under Sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 238 (causing evidence to disappear) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
More details will be revealed upon further investigation.
