French tourist family says 'thank you' to Mumbai gurudwara for sheltering them

The family was stuck in the Mumbai floods and were turned away by three hotels in Dadar before being directed to the gurudwara
A French tourist family stuck in Mumbai rains found help and shelter at a gurudwara in Mumbai yesterday.
TheBoleslawski family of five was travelling fromUdaipur, Rajasthan to Aurangabad, Maharashtra when they found themselves stranded in Mumbai after their train to Aurangabad was cancelled. They tried to take shelter at three hotels in Dadar but were turned away due to the commotion caused by the floods.
They were then directed to theShri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara in Dadar.
While leaving for Aurangabad today, the family wrote a heartfelt note to the gurudwara volunteers and left a donation for the good work.
It read:"Dear friends, we were lost in the rain and your gurudwara (sic) appeared like lighthouse in the dark. Not only you provided us with a shelter but you welcomed (sic) us with extreme kindness. One of our worst experience in India turned to one of the best and we learned a lot from you."
The note also said:“Please accept this small contribution to everything you do for the souls in need. If you happen to come to Paris, please let us know."
The gurudwara has been offering not only free meals but is also housing almost 750 people in its multiple prayerhalls.
