Why is Taapsee Pannu missing from 'Soorma' promotion

Bringing to life fearless, empowered characters on screen comes naturally to actor Taapsee Pannu. The actress whose upcoming film 'Soorma' has her playing a hockey player has been missing from the film's promotional activities.

The film that also starsDiljit Dosanjh has created a good amount of buzz among the audience and is set for 13th July release and promotions are in full swing.

Taapsee has not been able to attend the promotions at all. The actress is currentlyshooting in Scotland for the upcoming thriller 'Badla', directed by Sujoy Ghosh and could not resheduledher dates 'Soorma' was eralier supposed to release in May but later the release date got shifted, By then Taapsee had already allotted her dates to Sujoy's film that also features Amitabh Bachchan.

Taapsee was left with no option but to skip the promotions of the film 'Soorma'. But it hasn't stopped her from spreading the word. She has been enthusiastically promoting the film through her social media platforms in between filming for 'Soorma'.

The accomplished actress has been on point when it comes to delivering to her work commitments.When asked about her commitment to the film, the actress replied, “I am very attached to my films and I feel responsible for them. Promotion is also a part of the entire process of film release and I want to be there for my films in whichever way possible. Since I couldn’t be there physically present for 'Soorma', I am trying to do whatever possible from here in Scotland through my social media”.
