When Amitabh Bachchan was mistaken for Salman Khan

One would think that Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most recognised faces in the world. The superstar's fame is not just limited to India but his popularity transcends borders. But that clearly is not the case as Bachchan was recently mistaken for Salman Khan. Yes, you read that right.

Big B, who is known to be very active on social media, shared a photo of himself on the streets of Glasgow. The actor tweeted, " I walk the street of Glasgow by myself .. until a car drives by and occupant yells out .. " hey Salman Khan how you doin' .. (sic)"

We are yet to find out how Salman Khan reacted to the tweet but it did come as a surprise that people would not recognise Big B on the streets in any part of the world. One would think that Big B would be easily the most known Indian face in the world, but clearly, that doesn't seem to be the case.

While Salman Khan's popularity is unmatched, it is a bit hard to believe that people would not recognise Amitabh Bachchan who hashad a longer stint in Bollywood than Khan.

Whether the said person purposely called Bachchan out with a different name is something we'll never know.

The senior actor is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' which also co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
