Watch: Varun Dhawan champions Made In India as he goes to a local barber for 'Sui Dhaaga'

As actors and filmmakers innovate with their team to promote their film, Varun Dhawan rides a cycle in Mumbai to bring his character ‘Mauji’ closer to the public.

Varun was seen riding a cycle on the streets of Mumbai as he rode till a local barber shop to get perfect his ‘Mauji’ look for the film “Sui Dhaaga”. According to a report published in a daily, "Varun is starting the last leg of ‘Sui Dhaaga’ shoot in Mumbai and he had to get into his Mauji look again for the film. Varun had a full beard and he had to shave it all off and get just the moustache and for this, he decided he would go to a local barber shop."

In the video posted on Twitter, Varun is seen cycling his way through the streets of Mumbai, and stopping at a local barbershop called ‘Bharat Salon’. The shop owners, as well as the staff, look startled as they greet the star.

According to the report, the source said, "The barber was surprised to see the superstar at his salon and it was a dream come true to give the superstar his look for ‘Sui Dhaaga’. He was spot on and Varun loved how efficiently he had managed to get it done. Varun thanked the barber for giving him just the perfect look for his movie!”

Varun Dhawan will be seen with Anushka Sharma in the film as the two play the role of a married couple. The film is inspired by the ‘Make In India’ ideology of the government of India. The film is slated to hit the theatres on September 28, 2018.
