There will reportedly be a sequel to2004 hit film Aitraaz that originally starred Akshay Kumar, PriyankaChopra and Kareena Kapoor in a suspense-filled romantic drama.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, according to a report published in a Mumbai-based newspaper, has finalised the script for the sequel and intends to cast Priyanka again as one of the lead characters.
According to the report, Ghai had been working on the project for two years and is now ready with the plotline. The report adds that Chopra is also keen to work on the sequel.She is expected to start discussing the story and other details with the team after she is back from her Quantico season 3 schedule in New York.
The sequel of Aitraaz will have a new setting and while Ghai will be backing the project, he is reportedly looking for a new director to helm the project.
