Teaser of Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor to be launched at Mumbai vs Hyderabad IPL match?

Ever since a biopic on Sanjay Dutt was announced, there have been constant media attention of Ranbir Kapoor and his look in the film while portraying the star on the reel. As the movie inches towards completion, the makers now announce to release the film’s teaser at the IPL match between Mumbai and Hyderabad teams on April 24, 2018.

As per a report published in a leading daily, a source revealed that the teaser will launch on a leading channel that airs the cricket match. The makers are also trying for it to be released during the live match between the two teams amidst spectators to widen its reach.

The match is to be played at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai where it is said that Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor and director Rajkummar Hirani will be present at the launch.

The producers have also planned a 30-minute talk show, which will see Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor in a one-to-one conversation. The same daily reported:“The 30-minute chat will be moderated by Hirani. While Ranbir will talk about slipping into the character and the challenges they faced while shooting, Sanjay will speak about how he was surprised to see Ranbir’s transformation. Hirani will also shed light on how difficult it was to pen an engrossing script, especially since Sanjay’s life has been widely covered by the press. The officials at Fox Star have already started a dialogue with the channel for this.”

“The idea is to ensure that the teaser reaches as many people across the country as possible, which explains the launch on the cricket pitch as well,” the report added.

After the teaser’s digital release, it will also be attached to upcoming Marvel film Avengers: Infinity War.
