Salman Khan reaches Kashmir for 'Race 3' shoot, meets with CM Mehbooba Mufti

The crew recently wrapped up the film's shoot in Bangkok and returned back to India before Salman's hearing in blackbuck poaching case of 1998 last month.

Salman Khan arrived in the northernmost state of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday for a two-day shoot of his upcoming film Race 3 and the cameras went crazy clicking the superstar who was spotted driving an open jeep with some local police protection.

Salman also met with the state’s chief minister Mehbooba Mufti. Pictures of their meet soon went viral on social media. The crew first reached Srinagar where they received a warm welcome from CM Mufti and spent an hour with her. Later, they travelled to Sonamarg and shot for the film.

Race 3 directed by Remo D’Souza is an action-packed thriller produced jointly by Ramesh S. Taurani and Salman. Taurani sharing a picture with the team on Twitter wrote, “We thank the Chief Minister Madam Mehbooba Mufti for welcoming us in Kashmir for the Final Lap of #Race3 with @BeingSalmanKhan #Race3InKashmir #Race3ThisEid”

Race 3 also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. The film like most Salman starrer films is scheduled for release on Eid this year.
