Rajinikanth to travel to the US for medical treatment

After taking a 'spiritual' trip to the Himalayas, actor-politician Rajinikanth is planning to go to the US for two weeks for a health check-up.

Media reports stated the superstar might head back to India before the audio launch of his upcoming film Kaala.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kaala stars Rajinikanth as a don in the slums of Mumbai. The film also stars Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Huma Qureshi and Easwari Rao in important roles. Kaala is being touted as a game changer as many are predicting the film change Rajini’s image on-screen. Produced by Dhanush’s production house Wunderbar Studios, Kaala is set to release on June 7.
