Alia Bhatt starrer “Raazi” continued its steady run on day 20 as the film earns reviews and box office numbers. Meghna Gulzar’s film broke all stereotypes as the film entered the Rs 100 crore club even though it has no conventional song and dance sequences but plays majorly on the storyline and characters.
On Wednesday, “Raazi” collected Rs 1.92 crore with now the total sitting pretty at Rs 108.04 crore.
Apart from obviously making money, The Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions’ film got rave reviews for the performance of the lead pair -- Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. While Kangana called Alia “Queen” and said “It’s Alia Bhatt’s world and we just live in it” to other contemporaries calling her performance mind blowing. Shraddha Kapoor apparently sent her a bouquet of flowers with a hand-written card that reads: ‘Dearest fellow fish, so happy for your film doing so well. Big congratulations to you! Lots of love, Shraddha.’
“Raazi” also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shishir Sharma, Rajit Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Arif Zakaria and Amruta Khanvilkar in pivotal roles. The film also marks the return of director Meghna Gulzar, after the tremendous success of 2015 film “Talvar”.
“Raazi” is produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta and co-produced by Priti Shahani.
