R Madhavan undergoes shoulder surgery; advised two months of rest

Everytime R Madhavan shares a photo on his Instagram page, the photo goes viral. But his recent post got everyone concerned. The actor posted a photo of himself lying on a hospital bed.

The actor captioned the image as, " Shoulder surgery done... fighter back on track... cannot feel my right arm ha ha ha...(sic)"

Turns out the actor had injured his shoulder recently while working out in the gym. The actor had to undergo a corrective surgery as a result. The doctor has advised the actor to take two months rest. He has also been advised not to perform any action stunts for the next 5 months.

"Madhavan has been asked to take rest for two months. Though he can start shooting from the third month, he can’t perform any action scenes for at least five months,” a source close to the actor told Hindustan Times.

The actor had suffered a similar injury two years ago while shooting for Saala Khadoos but never found the time to get the operation done.

The actor was recently seen in a web series called Breathe on Amazon Prime which received good reviews from fans and critics alike.
