Priyanka Chopra to be paid equal to Deepika Padukone in 'Padmaavat'?

Reportedly, Deepika bagged Rs 12 crore for her role in the film, more than her male counterparts, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. She agreed on a television show that she was paid more than Ranveer and Shahid.

Now, as Priyanka has been roped to play Salman Khan’s lead heroine in her next Bollywood film, Bharat -- reports suggest that she is paid Rs 12 crore for the film. It is said that Priyanka’s team had demanded a remuneration of Rs 14 crores for the film, but the makers have settled for Rs 12 crore.

Salman Khan’s Bharat is a remake of Korean film Ode To My Father. The film will go on floors this July and is slated to release on Eid next year. It will also star Disha Patani along with Salman and Priyanka.
