
Film director Ram Gopal Varma has reunited with South Indian star Nagarjuna after a gap of 28 years for a thriller.
On Monday, lead actor Nagarjunatweeted a few stills from the movie, sharing his excitement:
He wrote:“28 years ago a film called Shiva changed my life and now again another film/what I’m feeling now is something I cannot describe! I only wish that life was so exciting every day”.
RGV made his directorial debut with the film"Shiva" that released in 1989. It went on to become a path-breaking film in Telugu cinema.
The new movie is expected to be yet another action drama where Nagarjuna plays the role of a cop.The production of the film began at the Anapurna Studios, where the actor-director duo started their maiden collaboration in 1989 with Shiva.
The film's final title hasn't been confirmed yet. For now, it's being referred to as "NagRGV4".
Speaking on the occasion,Ram Gopal Varma said, "People are commenting that RGV has lost mind. Some have opined that juices in me have ended. I agree that I have lost mind but whether my creative juices are flowing or not, you will notice now with this film. "
RGV's last directorial outing Sarkar 3, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Manoj Bajpai, was poorly rated by the critics and heis desperately looking for a comeback.
