Mithun Chakraborty's son Mimoh to get married on July 7th despite rape charges against him

Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh may have been accused of rape by a Bhojpuri actress, but the actor is all set to get married to Madalsa Sharma on July 7th.

The couple who got engaged a few months back are all set to tie the knot on July 7th, the bride's mother confirmed.

A few days back, a Bhojpuri actress accused Mimoh of rape under the pretext of marriage. The incident reportedly took place in 2015. The actress has accused Mimoh's mother Yogita along with the actor in plotting and terminating her pregnancy the same year.

A case was registered against the actor on Tuesday in Begumpur Police station, New Delhi under varied sections like 376, 328, 313, 417, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. According to the lawyer of the actress, the police had promised to arrest him before his July 7th marriage.

Meanwhile, Madalsa Sharma's mother, Sheetal has stated to an entertainment website that the wedding will take place as per schedule. Sheetal states she and her family are aware of the real story behind the case and added that Mimoh has registered a non-cognizable complaint against the Bhojpuri actress in the past. Sheetal doubted the intentions of the complaint and stated that if the incident took place in 2015, why did the victim wait till 2018 to file a complaint and that too right before Mimoh aka Mahakshay’s wedding.

Mithun Chakraborty and his family have so far no commented on the case or on the wedding for that matter. Media reports suggest that the wedding will take place in Ooty.
