It was reported yesterday that the fashion designer-filmmaker duo was dating as Manish liked a user's comment that read: "You guys are the cutest couple" on a photo of Manish and Karan together
After trending on social media for the longest time yesterday, Manish Malhotra in an interview clarified that he is not dating good friend Karan Johar.
Clarifying his stand, Manish responded to the dating rumours and said, “Karan is like a brother to me. It’s just ridiculous.”
According to rumours that spread rapidly on social media, Manish accidentally confirmed his relationship with the filmmaker as he liked a user’s comment that read: “You guys are the cutest couple.” The comment was made on a photo of Manish and Karan posing together.
This photo was posted by Manish on his Instagram page as a birthday wish for Karan on his 46th. The post read: ”Happy happy birthday my dearest bestest friend @karanjohar have a wonderful year ahead. 25!years of friendship and working together..and many more years to come and may you keep making the most wonderful films and keep being the spirited person that you are.”
The two are meanwhile, spotted together on several occasions like Bollywood parties and events. In his autobiography, Karan wrote that he often seeks advice from Manish.
