Kapil Sharma looks drastically different from former self as he returns to Mumbai; see pics

It's been a while since we last saw Kapil Sharma on TV. The comedian had made headlines earlier in April after he had a meltdown on Twitter and accused his former manager and a journalist of maligning and ruining his career. Subsequently, as Sharma filed a case against them, his show 'Family Time WIth Kapil Sharma' was also pulled out by Sony Television. The comedian soon left Mumbai perhaps to recuperate and get better.

On Tuesday night the actor returned to Mumbai and looked visibly different. Not only has he put on weight, but comedian looked a bit under the weather as well. The sight of his furry pet must have cheered him as Sharma was seen petting the dog and smiling at the cameras.

A few days back, the comedian, while interacting with fans, had admitted that he had put on weight but intended to lose it and live a more healthy life.

On Tuesday night, Kapil was seen wearing a tracksuit with a white tee, as he posed for photos with his pet.

Once hailed as the biggest star of small screen, Sharma has had a dream run on TV for nearly five years. It all started going downhill when he had a mid-air fight with Sunil Grover in 2017. While Grover and other cast members left his show owing to his bad behaviour, Sharma started a new show with a new cast but the show received a very lukewarm response from the audience.

Things worsen when he started cancelling his shoots including leaving Rani Mukerji waiting and subsequently cancelling the shoot with her.

Several media reports have suggested that Sharma is suffering from depression and alcohol addiction.
