'Kaala' becomes first Indian film to release in Saudi Arabia

''Kaala'' an action drama film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role released in Saudi Arabia today.

While the fans are excited that Kaala has released in three languages, according to reports, ''Kaala'' has now become the first Indian film to release in Saudi Arabia, which recently lifted its ban on movies.
Despite the Karnataka controversy and other issues, ''Kaala'' has hit screens worldwide.
Reports suggest that ''Kaala'' is Rajinikanth’s biggest release in the US till date.
''Kaala'' also premiered in Malaysia on June 6, followed by a release in 1,800 theatres in India on June 7.
The film is about the life of Nellai / Tirunelveli based Tamils who live in large numbers in Mumbai.
