Irrfan Khan's Karwaan co-star Dulquer Salmaan is a huge fan of his!

Karwaan trailer released earlier this week and what a response! Starring Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan TV star Mithila Palkar, the trailer looked fresh and fun all the way, according to most reports.

Making his Bollywood debut with this film, Salmaan spoke about his co-star Irrfan and is in awe of him. He said, "I’m a huge fan and he was amazing to work with. Whenever I’ve collaborated with seniors, including Mani sir (director Mani Ratnam), I’ve noticed that they are always on the lookout for the next magical script. Ditto, Irrfan sir. He was curious about Malayalam cinema and filmmakers down South."

Given that Karwaan is a movie based on an epic road trip, the actor shared, "I’m a big road trip guy. My first trip was in college. The excitement of going to a new place with a bunch of people is unparalleled. In our busy lives, it’s important to have a hobby and cars charge me up while long drives are rejuvenating."

Irrfan is currently getting treated for a neuroendocrine tumour in London as news of his treatment and illness to start with, shocked the entire Bollywood fraternity and his fans. Salmaan too spoke about how shocked he was to know that his co-star was suffering from something so serious.

Karwaan is slated to release on August 3, 2018.
