Deepika Padukone at Cannes
This is the second time for Deepika Padukone at Cannes as she debuted last year.
Cannes Film Festival 2018 has officially started as far as India is concerned as three actresses made way to the coveted film festival on May 10 -- Kangana Ranaut, Huma Qureshi who debuted and second-time appearance for Deepika Padukone.
After Kangana stunned in a Sabyasachi black shimmer saree and some vintage glam, Huma evoked a mixed response with her Varun Bahl off-white cape-gown. Deepika Padukone made a fresh start with a checkered denim look over leather pants and boots at the Nice airport and a huge smile on her face.
Today morning, Deepika was seen in a casual yet chic look as she sported the classy combination of denim and white. At the Hotel Martinez on the Boulevard de la Croisette, she paired her knotted crop top with a pair of mid-rise denims and beige pumps. Her hair was open in soft waves that she accessorised with oversized and tinted retro glasses and big hoops for earrings.
She then changed into a striped tulle-edged dress that had asymmetrical bell sleeves.
Deepika then changed into her third attire for the day -- a printed summer gown that she paired with an elegant silver balls belt, large heart-shaped pink earrings and you can’t miss a high ponytail. The look is refreshing, cool for summers and a new take on summer gowns/dresses that you must have in your wardrobe.
Deepika is in Cannes to represent the cosmetics giant L'Oreal on the red carpet. She will be there on May 10 and 11 while Cannes veterans Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor will also be attending the festival but on later dates.
Sonam just got married to businessman Anand Ahuja on May 8 as Bollywood came to celebrate the occasion.
