Deepika Padukone to follow Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra's footsteps?

After Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra looks like another top actress is all set to make her foray into film productions.Deepika Padukone, who is currently one of the most popular stars of Bollywood is planning to start her own production house.

Anushka, who has produced films like NH10, Phillauri, Pari- has been conferred with an award recently for her work as a producer.Meanwhile, Priyanka has ventured into production while backing regional cinema. Now, Deepika too plans to take up this new role.

According to a report in DNA, "Deepika is focusing on setting up her own production house. She wants to be associated with interesting and content-driven films. She will soon be donning the producer's hat."

In an earlier interview, Deepika has expressed her desire to turn producer. "I want to venture into production and be a producer or line producer someday because I feel I have that kind of personality. I like to organize, put things together and make things happen. I don't want to be a producer because I want to make money," the actress has said.

Deepika's last outing on the big screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansal's Padmaavat was appreciated by one and all. She was scheduled to start working in Vishal Bhardwaj's next with Irrfan Khan soon after Padmaavat's release but the film was postpone owing to Irrfan's ill-health.
