Bollywood actors Vinay Pathak, Sayani Gupta sign up for a comedy film titled 'Axone'

In a film set in New Delhi around the theme of racism, Bollywood actors Vinay Pathak and Sayani Gupta have signed up for a bittersweet comedy titled Axone produced by Yoodlee Films.

Announcing the film, Siddharth Anand Kumar from Yoodlee Films said, “It is the first time we’re having such an intriguing pair of actors on stage. Sayani has such powerful performances in her belt and Vinay is the undisputed leader of subtle comic timing. The film is hard hitting and I hope the audiences like it.”

Axone will mark Vinay’s return to comedy after giving a spate of comedy films like Challo Dilli, Bheja Fry series, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Badlapur and Gour Hari Dastaan.

Meanwhile, Sayani has also displayed her acting skills in critically acclaimed Margarita with a Straw, Fan, Jolly LLB 2 and Jagga Jasoos.

The film is written and directed by Nicholas Kharkongor.
