Aamir Khan sends Ekta Kapoor to heaven as he appreciates 'The Test Case'

Ekta Kapoor is currently in heaven as Aamir Khan took to Twitter to appreciate the work of all in a web series titled The Test Case.

Aamir took to his Twitter profile to commend the performances of actors Nimrat Kaur, Atul Kulkarni and Rahul Dev as they gave “power-packed performances” in the words of Aamir himself. He also lauded the work of the director Vinay Waikul who led Aamir to have a perfect “binge watch” session.

He wrote: “Just finished watching a web series called ‘The Test Case. Really enjoyed it. Really liked the work of Vinay Waikul who directed all but one of the episodes. Loved the performances. Nimrat and the entire cast has done a wonderful job. Thank you guys for an enjoyable bing watch! Love. a.”

As soon as the tweet went public, the maker Ekta Kapoor replied to Aamir’s tweet and expressed her excitement at the words of appreciation. She wrote: “Ok I’m officially in heaven!!! Cannot come back till I recover from this !!!”

Meanwhile, in an interaction with IANS, director Vinay on The Test Case said, “Being my very first project as a director, it was a roller-coaster of struggles and epiphanies and was thrilling to say the least. The big challenge in a long format is to keep the audience coming back until the very end but I couldn’t think of all that. For me, it was about making the best film in every episode, treating each episode as important as the next to tell the whole story.”

Incidentally, Vinay has worked as an assistant director on Aamir Khan’s films like Ghajini, Dangaland 3 Idiots. He was also a part of Satyamev Jayate.
