
After the Parliament cleared the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill toscrap Article 370 of the Constitution and convert Jammu and Kashmir in two Union Territories, the Bharatiya Janata Party is now working to delimit the state's assembly.
The Election Commission has initiated a meeting to discuss different aspects of delimitation of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
The BJP in the statehas been raising the issue of reorganisation of the state so that Jammu gets a larger share of seats in the 87-member state assembly.
As of now, Kashmir region has 46 seats followed by Jammu region with 37 and Ladakh with four.
