Ekta Kapoor comes out with a new web series, reinventing horror with 'Ragini MMS Returns'

Remember when Indian television hit director Ekta Kapoor forayed in the horror genre with her own "Paranormal Activities"movie in Bollywood?

Yes, we are talking about 2011 horror flick "Ragini MMS"--actors pulled up in mid-air, appliances switching on and off on their own, weird noises and a woman wearing anklets walking up and down the stairs. Well, she's back.

Ekta Kapoor's digital platform ALT Balaji is set to release a new web series titled "Ragini MMS Returns"bringing back sex and horror in one package.It is a sequel to the2011 erotic-horror movie.

ALT Balaji has today released what can be called one of the most sensuous posters oflead actorsKarishma Sharma and Siddharth Gupta teasing the audience.The web series is a romantic horror packing some unexpected twists.

Actress Riya Sen is also part of the venture alongside Karishma and Siddharth. Riya plays the role of a girl named Simran and the story revolves around two girls who witness horrifying things happening in a deserted college. The two then get on a mission to find an alleged scandalous MMS CD which can help them trace the origins of the mystery.
