The counsel of the Kathua rape victim's family,Deepika S Rajawat, has said that her life was in danger and she would approach the Supreme Court on Monday.

Expressing thefear of getting raped or killed, thecounsel saidthatshedoes not knowhowlong was shegoing to live.

She also added that she was threatened on Saturday.

She said " I don't know till when I will be alive. I can be raped, my modesty can be outraged, I can be killed, I can be damaged. I was threatenedyesterday that ' we will not forgive you". I am going to tell Supreme Court tomorrow that I am in danger".

The trial in the horrific rape case of the eight-year-old child will begin on Monday.

An eight-year-old was gang-raped and murderedin Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua.

The culprits drugged her and held her in captive in a small temple for several days before brutally killing her with a rock.
