Direct tax collections for FY 2017-18 up 14.4%

Direct tax collections for the financial year 2017-18 have gone up by 14.4%, the Central Board of Direct Taxes said Saturday.

The figures are up to November 2017.

The provisional figures of direct tax collections up to November 2017 show net collections are at Rs 4.8 lakh crore which is a 14.4% increase over the corresponding period the previous year.
