'Did not expect this from Pranab,' says Sonia's aide Ahmed Patel on speech at RSS event

Sonia Gandhi's aide Ahmed Patel hit out against former president Pranab Mukherjee's visit to RSS centre in Nagpur where he is set to deliver a speech today evening.
In a tweet Patel said, "I did not expect this from Pranab da!," while replying to a tweet from ex-president's daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee.
Pranab's daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee in a tweet had lashed out against her father's visit to Nagpur saying the "visit would be forgotten but visuals will remain."
The former Congressman had decided to accept an invite by the RSS to deliver the speech as the Congress leaders raised objections over the visit.
In the tweet, Sharmistha said it would give the "BJP and RSS full handle to plant false stories, spread false rumours" adding, "making it somewhat believable".
"And this is just the beginning!," she said in her tweet.
