The Delhi Medical Council has concluded the investigation in the case of a premature baby who was wrongly declared dead at Max Hospital in Delhi last year by giving a clean chit to the doctors.

Both the babies were declared stillborn by the hospital and handed over to the family allegedly in a polythene bag.
The family discovered that the boy was still alive, while they were on way to do thefinal rites.
The baby died during treatment at a nursing home in Pitampura a week later.
A panel formed by the Delhi government to look into the case had found Max hospital guilty of not following prescribed medical norms in dealing with newborn infants.
