The weather office has predicted more rains for Delhi today. The maximum temperature is likely to touch the 35 degrees Celsius mark today, the meteorological department said.
"The maximum temperature would around 35 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal while the minimum temperature is expected to settle at 27.5 degrees Celsius," a MeT official said.
"One or two spells of rains are expected to hit the national capital today," the official added.
After a long spell of dust storms and scorching heat, Delhi finally received a relief as south-west monsoon hit the city this week.
According to reports, rains helped settle the pollution in the capital city and Delhiites breathed the cleanest air this week, in the satisfactory level, for the first time in nearly a year.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) value for the capital was a "satisfactory" at 83 on June 29, according to the Central Pollution Control Board data.
