Delhi fog: 20 flights, 60 trains delayed

Train and flight services have been affected for the fourth day in a row due to the thick fog in the capital and several other parts of North India. 60 trains delayed, 18 rescheduled and 14 cancelled on Thursday due to prevailing fog conditions in the national capital.

Flights at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport have also been equally affected with 20 flights delayed due to low visibility as fog shrouded Delhi.

The government on Monday said that it was monitoring the situation and trying to bring some improvement in the system after flight services went for a toss due to heavy fog in the last few days.

Yesterday 21 trains were cancelled and 59 trains, 8 flights delayed.
