Delhi: Biker's neck slit by wire between police barricades, dies on the spot

A 21-year old boy lost his life as he didn't spot a wire between two police barricades and got his throat slit by the same.

Abhishek Kumar was speeding his way back home from a wedding Wednesday night.

An FIR has been filed while four police constables have been suspended on charges of negligence.

Abhishek's family shared that two police barricades stationed at the two ends of the road were joined by a thick wire. There was no light on the road due to which Kumar was unable to spot the wire and met with the accident.

Kumar's kin also shared that no police personnel was present on the spot when the accident happened.

Police confirmed that Abhishek's death was caused due to the cut around his, he died on the spot.

The accident happened in Netaji Subhash Place, West Delhi.
