
Sharad Kalaskar, an accused in the Narendra Dabholkar murder case, was sent to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody on Monday by a Pune sessions court.
Kalaskar will be in CBI custody until September 15.
The two other accused in the case, Amit Degwekar and Rajesh Bangera, have been sent to magisterial custody, news agency ANI reported. 
According to reports, the court rejected CBI's demand for the custody of the other two accused.
The court, on September 6, had granted CBI the custody of Amol Kale, another accused. Kale will be in custody until September 14. Amol Kale is the prime accused in journalist Gauri Lankesh murder case. 
The CBI suspects that Kale is also the mastermind of Dabholkar's killing, he said.
Narendra Dabholkar was shot dead by two bike-borne assailants while returning home from a morning walk on August 20, 2013.
