Cloudy morning in Delhi, light rain predicted

It was cloudy morning in the national capital on Sunday, with the meteorological department predicting light rains in the city later in the day.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius while the relative humidity in the morning was 79 per cent, a MeT department official said.

Traces of rain was registered in Palam area of the city.

According to the weatherman, the day is likely to remain cloudy and light rain may occur in the city, while the maximum temperature is expected to be around 33.9 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum stood at 28.6 degrees Celsius.
