Cloudburst triggers flash flood in Dachigam area of J&K

A cloudburst in the Dachigam has triggered flash floods in the area on Monday.

The cloudburst hit Dachigam mountain range on Monday night triggering flash floods in Dachigam nallah.

There has been heavy rain in the area for the past a few days.

Local machinery and workforce have been deployed to clear the area.

However, no loss of life was reported in this cloudburst-related incident.

“The situation is under control. People need not to panic,” local officials said.
