Months after India restricted China's attempt at expanding over Doklam region in Bhutan, reports emerge showing Chinese presence along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh.
A group of Chinese constructions, including new People's Liberation Army (PLA) camp, was seen along the LAC in the eastern state.
Chinese expansion along the international border also included Chinese telecommunications tower and an observation post with a surveillance equipment.
The latest expansion from the Chinese side was seen in an areacalled Tatu located on the other side of Arunachal Pradesh's Kibithu.
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said earlier this month that China was involved in the construction of helipads, sentry posts and trenches for its army personnel in Doklam.
Her statement came right after India's envoy in Beijing cautioned the government that any change of status quo along the India-China border may lead to another Doklam-like crisis.
India's envoy to China also asserted that there was "no change" at the standoff site even if the Chinese armed forces are trying to reinforce its troops "well behind the sensitive area".
