Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and seven other MLAs of the AAP party may be charged with a criminal conspiracy case by the Delhi Police in connection to the alleged assault on chief secretary Anshu Prakash, media reports stated.

The police will soon file a charge-sheet against Kejriwal and his ministers. Reports suggest that the charge sheet has been preparedon the basis of evidence and statements.

The case pertains to the alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash duringa late night meeting at Kejriwal's house on February 19.

The chief secretary had said that he was assaulted in the presence of Kejriwal by his ministers.

After the alleged assault, several bureaucrats had refused to attend meetings of the chief minister and his cabinet colleagues. Several other IAS officers hadgone on strike.
