In an attempt to continue his fight against the Centre, Telugu Desam Party chief and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu reached out to the non-Congress and non- BJP parties on Sunday.
News agency ANI reported that the party chief wrote to the non- Congress and non-BJP parties' presidents and Parliamentary party leaders seeking cooperation and support for TDP’s fight against the Centre for justice to the state.
The move has come two days after TDP chief said that he would move a no-confidence motion against the NDA in the upcoming monsoon session of the parliament.
TDP, once BJP's biggest ally partner in the south, broke its alliance with the NDA in March after it pulled out its ministers from the government.
The TDP claims that the PM Modi led government did not fulfil its promise of providing a special status to  Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu had also tried bringing a no-confidence motion against the government earlier this year but the motion against the government was halted due to repeated adjournments in parliament.
Naidu had said earlier, "In 2019, BJP will taste defeat. It gave false promise but could not deliver anything. Conspiracies are going on to create tension in the state. But we won`t let them happen." Naidu had claimed. He had also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he is a campaign PM who has failed to deliver on promises.
