The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned RashtriyaJanata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav in the IRCTC hotels scam.
In July, the CBI conducted raids at multiple locations and booked the former railway minister, his son, and wife in the 2006 alleged scam involving awarding of tenders.

Lalu is accused of favouring a privatecompany for the development, maintenance, and operation of hotels in Ranchi and Puri when he was railway minister during the UPA-I government from 2004 to 2009.
