CBI questions Nirav Modi-owned Fire Star's CFO Ravi Shankar Gupta

The Central Bureau of Investigation has questioned Ravi Shankar Gupta, the Chief Financial Officer of Nirav Modi owned Fire Star Groupon Monday.

The CBI had earlier filed a third FIR against Nirav Modi and officials of thefirm Firestar Diamond including Ravi Shankar Gupta.

The FIR was filed after the Punjab National Bank filed a new complaint on March 4 claiming that it was cheated of Rs 321 crore in 2013-2017 due to the firm.

With the new FIR, the fraud amount in the Nirav Modi relating PNB scam has escalated to Rs 13,000 crore.
